ACTIVITY: Forgive and Let Go!
I this time of quarantine testing your patience? Maybe hurtful things have been said or done. Try this....
1. As a group, pray this prayer:
Jesus, my helper, help me forgive those who hurt me.
I want to love as you did.
2. Pass out paper and pencil to each person.
3. Ask everyone to write/draw about something or someone who has hurt them or made them sad.
4. Give a few minutes to write in silence. (play soft music in background)
5. After everyone has written on their papers, crumple their sheets into the smallest balls possible.
6. Throw the crumpled balls into a trash can.
7. Think of the hurt you just threw in the garbage and pray the prayer above again.
